What the Innsbruck Card Includes

The office headlines eight sights and backs them with 22+ doors and the whole transport network. Here’s the list as it actually plays, fine print restored.

The mountain — the inclusion that IS the card

One upward and one downward journey on the full Nordkette chain: the Hungerburg funicular from the city centre, the cable car to Seegrube, the top section to Hafelekar at 2,334 metres — the ride that puts high-Alpine air twenty minutes from a Habsburg old town. One rule matters: it’s ONE return, not unlimited laps — spend it on the clearest window your card’s clock offers, per the playbook.

The other seven headliners

• Swarovski Crystal Worlds — entry AND the shuttle to Wattens (the park’s own entry lists at $27; the shuttle solves the 20-minute distance).
• The Imperial Palace — the Habsburgs’ Alpine seat, state rooms and the Maria Theresa rooms.
• The Court Church — Maximilian’s cenotaph ringed by its famous bronze giants.
• The Alpine Zoo — Europe’s highest-altitude zoo, the Alps' own fauna (the zoo+summit single lists at $71 — on the card, both ride free).
• The City Tower — the old town’s balcony, 33 metres over the golden roof.
• Bergisel Ski Jump — Zaha Hadid’s arc and the arena of two Olympics ($13 alone).
• Ambras Castle — Ferdinand’s Renaissance cabinet of wonders above the city ($19 alone).

The transport layer

All city public transport rides on the card — buses, trams, and the Sightseer hop-on bus that strings the outlying sights (Ambras, Bergisel) together. With the Swarovski shuttle included too, the card is transport-complete: no visitor day in Innsbruck needs a ticket machine.

The rules that matter

Continuous hours — 24, 48 or 72 from first use, so activate on a morning. One mountain return — not a lift pass.
